    When we meditate we activate our para-sympathetic nervous system and it's here that our body can truly rest, digest, repair and restore itself. Under stress, the body quite literally shuts down - our immune system, reproductive system, digestive system, elimination system (and the list goes on) all shut down. Meditation is the anti-dote to stress. Meditation creates the container for healing to occur within the body (physically, mentally and emotionally). Meditation increases your awareness, deepens your connections to self, heals your body and allows you to transform into the best version of yourself.

    Unlike some other forms of meditation, Effortless Meditation is extremely easy to learn and do. It is not difficult at all, it requires absolutely zero effort or concentration and it is very enjoyable to practice.

  • This is perfect! This course meets you exactly where you are at. Effortless Meditation can actually be easier to pick up if you have never meditated before. This is because you come to the experience with a beginners mind and no pre-conceived ideas of what it should be and feel like. Effrotless Meditation is. for beginners and experienced meditators.

  • Effortless Meditation is extremely easy to do/practice and the effects/benefits can be felt rather quickly . Most people say that they look forward to their Effortless Meditation practice, particularly after a long day of work. Effortless Meditation is exactly what the name suggests.. effortless. More concentrative forms of meditation can be difficult to do and even more difficult to stick with - so it is easy to understand why many people can give up on them. When taught correctly, meditation should feel effortless.

  • The intention of this meditation is not to stop your thoughts and it is not to think of nothing. You have a mind and the nature of your mind is to think. Having thoughts is a natural part of being human and they are also a natural part of the meditation process.
    If you didn’t have thoughts, you would be dead. In this meditation, we allow our thoughts to be there and go beyond them. Meditation allows us to change our relationship to our thoughts, we aren't trying to make them disappear - although sometimes we do transcend them.

  • During the course, you will learn how to meditate anytime, anywhere - without needing a facilitator or someone to guide you. I believe this is the most empowering option and the best thing anyone can do for themselves.

    On the other hand, the guided meditations are 30 minute recorded meditations. An effortless approach is still used - and there is some explanation included for how to effectively use the audio meditations.

    Both options have the same effect on the mind and body.
    Personally in my own life, I meditate on my own twice a day for 30 minutes and occasionally enjoy doing guided meditations 1-2 a week as a treat.
