Why I decided to teach Meditation on Salt Spring Island?
Many years ago, before I became a meditation teacher, I visited Salt Spring Island alone. At the time, I was struggling with some internal issues and I was unsure how to navigate them - I needed time alone to find some clarity and Salt Spring called to me.
I spent a number of days here in solitude and deep reflection. As I sat by the ocean by myself, I had a huge and powerful realisation that ultimately changed the trajectory of my life. I had realised for the first time how I had unconsciously suppressed some very deep traumas and they were impacting my life in many negative ways. It was the start of a MASSIVE healing journey. After leaving Salt Sping Island, I spent the next 2-3 years in deep healing. Navigating my stored trauma, exploring my own inner darkness and clearing out energy that no longer belonged to me - and I used Effortless Meditation as a huge tool for this.
3 years later, I decided I wanted to move back to the west coast of BC and I continued to receive many intuitive messages to move to Salt Spring Island. The guidance to move here was strong and direct - and seamlessly I followed it.
This place is truly profound and magical. The connection with nature, community and oneself is strong here. To be surrounded by so much nature as well as like-minded people is powerful. This is why I decided to move to Salt Spring Island and teach meditation.

How to learn meditation on Salt Spring Island?
